Programs
Sciphre Lectures
Sciphre lectures feature
controversial topics in science, philosophy and religion with national and
international scholars. The lectures promote better understanding of the
different points of view on relevant issues confronting society. University
campuses are the typical venue and the lectures are open to the public.
Sciphre Conferences
Conferences for scholars and students are held annually and coordinated under
specific themes, but broad in scope, with invited papers on topics in relevant
areas of science, philosophy and religion. Emphases are on the topical subjects
consistent with the mission of the Sciphre Institute.
Sciphre Publications
The Institute facilitates publication of articles and books by affiliate
members. The Sciphre Lecture Series and the proceedings of the Sciphre
Conferences are included in the publication program.
Sciphre Initiatives
In harmony with our purpose and objectives, the Institute invites inquiries
on our Website for responses from affiliate members in their fields of
expertise. We also offer counseling on matters of faith, ethics, and academic
needs.
Sciphre Focus Groups
Bringing together leaders
from across many disciplines and career paths to examine questions of critical
importance for science, philosophy and religion. Professional facilitators
guide the discussions and findings of the focus groups will normally be
disseminated in published documents.
